This is nice landscape edging. This landscape edging looks very good in the yard, and it also stays in place very well. The included long plastic stakes work well to hold the edging in place. However, the spikes only work in soft ground. If this edging is to be installed on hard ground, then a metal spike or a long screwdriver will need to be hammered into the ground first in order to make a hole for the stake to be placed in. This edging is very stiff, and it is easier to work with if left sitting in the sun for a while before using it. Also, this edging works better for making circles than straight lines, as it comes packed wound up, and it naturally wants to curl in one direction. Overall, this is good landscape edging. However, I am removing one star because the edging is so short. It is really not tall enough to keep out any grass over about 2 inches tall, or contain deep mulch. If this edging was about an inch or two taller it would be nearly perfect. The primary use for this edging should be for making tree rings in a yard with short grass and soft ground. Anything other than that will take a little extra work. Also, 20 feet does not go very far in the grand scheme of things. Overall, I would recommend this landscape edging. However, it works best for the previously mentioned landscape designs.So, I wanted to use these for my side walk to lay landscape rocks; however, I was really surprised by the small amount. It was my fault as I really underestimated the amount I needed.Overall, it is very sturdy and easy to maneuver. It comes with the stakes, but they were not sturdy as some that I have dealt with in the past. Overall, this is a really good project and easy to use, but meant for really small gardening and lawn projects.I went back to the description of the item on Amazon thinking I missed read it because I thought this came with metal stakes. Well, the description makes no mention as to what material the stakes are made of just what the edging is made of. It does show a picture of the stakes but to me they looked like black metal nail stakes. They are NOT metal, They are hard plastic which did not penetrate the hard sun baked earth in the yard. Medium or soft soil these stakes would work fine.My experience installing Gviccahiy edging:Upon installation most of the stakes bent or just snapped. So I ordered steel stakes and had to self tap a hole with the point because the steel nail heads were smaller than the predrilled holes on the edging. But I got it installed and it looks nice, just expect to have to spend money on metal stakes if your ground is very hard.In all this trim bent corners easily and is staying in place. It is a bit thicker and the finish a little smoother than the one I was butting it up to(which also came with plastic stakes) but not noticeable at a distance. The price is a tad cheaper, which surprised me because it is thicker and has a better finish, but it did come with 2 less plastic nails then my other kit. But in all this was the nicer edging and I may buy it again if it at some point comes with metal stakes.This was simple enough to roll out and shape, as I am creating a couple planters around two trees. Really easy to cut through this trim. Since it's plastic, it can adapt to uneven areas. This does come with plastic spikes, as long as the soil is soft enough, they will work. I hit some roots and bought some metal spikes that work much better.I’m satisfied with the quality of the item in relation the the price. I’ve order this same item from big box stores and this is the same quality. The only suggestion I ever have for this item is to use metal stakes instead of the ones provided. However, for the price of the item I think the plastic stakes are suffice. I usually just use a combination of the metal and plastic.Everything you need to set up a nice boarder for your garden or flower space or walkway which is what Im using it for.Its easy to set up and you have everything you need.20 feet goes really quick when your making a walkway.I do like how it lays out very easily (especially on a warmer day) and how the spikes will keep it in the ground well.I think its a nice boarder and makes a difference when you have one vs not having one.This item helps me to finish my backyard project is good quality and worth the price. I recommend this productI know I need more mulch but this edging is nice quality! It comes with big long nails that are plastic, some of them broke when I was trying to put them into the ground so that might be something to fix. Other than that they still look great!
