This was the first time trying a product like this. We purchased it to hide the edges of some bookcases that were not laminated on the edge. We laid the bookcases down so gravity worked with us, we found vertical didn't work too well and the strip kept wanting to fall off and was harder to cut to size. I would have appreciated an idea of what to set the iron at for heat; we just sort of went with it (med-high, almost to natural fiber setting) and made sure I didn't linger in one area too long. The width was a little larger than we needed and used an x-acto blade to cut it down after adhering to the edge, I just had to be careful not to cut the bookcase. All in all it was a fairly simple process. Looks good; so far its held up (3 weeks).
