This black dig-in edging is made from a unique composite blend of recycled plastic materials that will last for years, even during temperature fluctuations and periods of ground freeze and thaw. Designed for use in both commercial and DIY landscape and garden edging installations, EasyFlex Composite Dig-In Landscape Edging has a 4.5" wall height. The plastic edging requires moderate effort to install: Simply dig a trench along the installation area, place edging in your desired spot, and stake the edging into the ground with the included anchoring stakes. Edging kit includes (1) 40 ft. coil of black garden edging and (12) black anchoring stakes to complete a 40-foot landscape or garden edging installation. I got this edging to demarcate the area around a newly planted tree. It's quite tough and looks good. I used a heat gun to straighten it and to get 90-degree bends. I had to water the soil to be able to pound the stakes and the edging into the ground. Used a spare piece of wood and mallet to get the edging seated firmly.
