This attractive, sturdy, durable, and relatively easy-to-install sidewalk edging helped us win a recent battle against lizards in our jungle rock garden. These lurking lizards (which we jokingly refer to as the El Chapo clan) constantly tunnel and spew dirt, mulch and other debris into the sidewalk leading to our front door. Weary of having to frequently use a boom and dustpan to clean up after them, we installed this tall (almost 8" high) edging and voila, the problem is solved because the edging is high enough to block the flying mulch and dirt they kick up and night! The edging border is made of high-quality natural wood and features a metal inner core connection that provides additional stability and support. Each of the four-feet long panels features four built-in stakes that we tapped into the soil with a soft topped mallet. We were able to connect our two four-foot panels with wire. Hopefully this landscape edging solution will withstand our extreme desert climate and weather conditions. Time will tell!
