So far, I've used it to create a terrace in one of my perennial beds. It is so easy; much more so than the old kind of metal borders. For one thing, I like that you can get different heights for different applications. And, I discovered you can get the same border in different colors! I ordered a couple different heights in black. It won't ever be as care-free as the silver since the paint will eventually chip off and / or fade, but I'll try it anyway.I was able to cut it easily with metal snips. Then, I took some pliers and folded over the ends about a quarter of an inch so I wouldn't cut myself.
