I don't normally, well actually I never write reviews on anything. I thought this would simply be another one of my spur of the moment, expect to get my behind chewed later by the hubby because my latest wasted money, useless purchase somehow magically landed on our doorstep in a few days. Needless to say, I was sweating the usual backlash.You had about as much of a chance of the 1996 Movie Twister actually removing Bill & Helen's clothes in the well scene than trying to get him to try anything that I purchased. This could possibly mean disaster. After all, we were planning to go out to Red Lobster that weekend & possibly upgrade my phone. Needless to say, it was a risky endeavor.Well, it showed up right on time. Tiny box. We'd purchased several new EGO Battery lawn tools, incuding of course a VERY NICE, however quite heavy weed trimmer. Unfortunately not considering my hubby has a fairly bad rotator cuff situation in his right shoulder with a few back issues.Anyway, for the first several days he simply walked around it, as if daring it to actually speak to him. Mind you now, I'd deliberately left it in the middle of the floor hoping he'd gain some type of interest, sniffing it out, kind of like the cave men before discovering fire. But Alas, no luck. I was clearly going to have to take matters into my own hands as usual. So I began the unboxing, or should I say What unboxing?Trust me. It's EXTREMELY SIMPLE & the only 2 allen wrenches you need for assembly are already included, as is a small paper with pictured instructions in color. It's really just a matter of tightening 6 allen head bolts & then findind the correct adjustment for you. Once I got it installed on the trimmer (roughly 10 min), then finally managed to get grumpy cave man to actually lift himself out of the recliner long enough to adjust it properly to his needs it's been a nothing short of a weedeating miracle around here!He's a changed man! It's very lighweight to my surprise. You really can't even feel any extra weight. The center locking adjustability was another extremely handy feature that was missing off most I looked at, as was the padded handle & the ability to easily use it right or left handed. In other much,much shorter words......WE LOVE IT! LOL
